If you said “yes” then the Vesta Cloth Diaper Rental Program is for you!

The Vesta Cloth Diaper Rental program allows you to borrow a variety of diapers so that you can try them out and decide if cloth diapering is for your family, and if it is, decide which type of diapers you prefer. 

Cloth Diaper Rental Kit

The kit includes:

  • 3 GroVia Inserts
  • GroVia All-In-One
  • Small Bummis Super Whisper Wrap
  • Small Bummis Superbrite (diaper cover)
  • 6 small organic prefolds
  • Small Bummis SuperLite
  • MotherEase Small Sandi (bamboo) + small doubler
  • MotherEase Small Sandi (Organic cotton) + small doubler
  • MotherEase One-size (unbleached cotton) +snap-in doubler
  • MotherEase One-size (stay dry) +snap-in doubler
  • Small MotherEase Rikki Wrap
  • Small MotherEase Airflow cover
  • Small MotherEase wetbag (for cloth diapering on the go)
  • Motherease Flushable Liners
  • Sample of Tip Toes Bum Butter (only use if necessary – always use a liner in this case)
  • Claudias Choices laundry detergent (so we can keep the care consistent)

Length of Rental

You borrow the rental kit for 14 days.  This will provide your family enough time to test out each diaper a few times and wash the diapers a number of times so that you get a full appreciation for cloth diapering.

Cost of Rental

The Diaper Rental Program is $30, payable when you pick up the diapers.  With the rental you receive a coupon for $20 off the purchase of any cloth diapers in the Vesta Shop. 

A $150 deposit is required at the time of rental.  It will be returned when all items of the diaper kit are returned in good condition.   We also require a credit card number to be kept on file to charge in the event that items are not returned or are returned damaged.

The renter will pay the full retail value of any items that are not returned or damaged by error on the part of the renter (e.g barrier cream residue, bleaching) or lost.  The renter is not responsible for damage due to “regular wear and tear”.

Some Requirements of the Program

  • All items in the kit can only be used in smoke-free homes.
  • All items in the kit must remain in Ontario during the rental period.
  • Traditional diaper creams (zinc, petroleum-based, etc) cannot be used with the rental diapers.  A sample of Tip Toes Bum Butter will be provided for use as a barrier cream, however a flushable liner (provided) must be used at all times when it is used.
  • The renter must adhere strictly to the washing instructions provided (click here to see instructions).  Bleach, bleach alternatives, and fabric softener cannot be used on any of the items in the kit.  Diapers must be washed using required washing instructions before returning.
